Relinquished

Dark thresholds you could enter. It visualizes anxiety — when you have too many paths and no information about what any of them lead to, every choice feels dangerous. The space is not abandoned, it's watching. It makes you the intruder. It's a space made for humans — hotel, office, museum — but rendered completely inhuman. The symmetry of the topiaries feels like a failed attempt to make it welcoming. It’s about that modern feeling of being alone and exposed in a system that was supposedly built for you. In short: it's the moment of hesitation before you have to decide which darkness to walk into, knowing something is already looking back at you.
