A striking 16th century devotional painting depicting Saint Sebastian pierced by arrows alongside Saint Roch, traditionally invoked as a protector against plague. Painted in oil on panel, the work combines the graphic imagery of Christian martyrdom with the distinctive devotional character of Northern European painting. Unsigned and presented in a gilt frame, the original painted surface remains stable for its age, with some age related wear and minor movement to the panel.
