Hello, I'm elfo.

Elfo's artistic journey began in 1994 at the age of 14, when he entered the world of traditional graffiti writing out of a pure need for self-expression. After a decade of practicing classic graffiti, he developed a deep desire for originality, leading him to explore the early realms of streetart and the internet around 2005. These two mediums quickly became the main pillars of his continuous artistic research. By 2007, Elfo’s style shifted heavily toward conceptual and minimal art Rejecting the monumental scale of modern massive murals (a trend sometimes described as the "Disneyfication" of street art), he chose instead to make subtle, raw, and highly contextualized interventions in public spaces. His work seamlessly transitions between street art and land art. Elfo often uses unconventional and raw materials—such as cellophane, plastic wraps, road fences, or natural elements like abandoned ruins, animal carcasses, and fallen trees. When he relocated to the countryside, far from typical city walls, he began experimenting in unusual locations like supermarkets, cemeteries, and natural landscapes, altering urban and rural contexts with biting, satirical phrases. Elfo's practice is deeply rooted in irony. Critiques of how internet culture and social media oversaturate human perception. Provocations directed at the commercialization and system of contemporary Actions that border on digital subversion and self-sabotage, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is considered "art".
