A large 18th century Spanish School oil on canvas depicting the Infant Christ offering water from a shell to St John the Baptist, accompanied by the lamb and watched over by angels. Richly atmospheric and devotional in character, the work is beautifully preserved for its age and presented in a period wooden frame.
